Harborside Cottages

The Harborside Cottages offer a luxurious cottage experience with bespoke coastal charm, antique and North Carolina furnishings, fireplaces, morning kitchens, and soaking tubs. The cottages are located across the street from the Harbor Club, Marina, dining, and pool with private front porches facing a shared courtyard and gas-lit firepit with oversized Adirondack chairs.

Harborview Suites

The Harborview Suites offer well-deserved space to relax and rejuvenate with outstanding water views in the Heart of the Harbor Village. These luxurious third floor retreats have spacious morning kitchens & sitting areas with spectacular views. The Suites are located across from the Harbor Club & Pool area, above Yawl’s Café and Natural Elements Spa & Wellness.

Boathouse Row

The Bunkies on Boathouse Row are privately-owned cottages with a shared courtyard and firepit; located near the community amphitheater and tennis courts. They’re just a short drive down the street from the Harbor Village with dining, spa, fitness center and provisions store.

Accommodation Policies

  • Weekday Rates apply Sunday-Thursday.
  • Weekend/Holiday Rates apply Friday-Saturday, during Special Events and on Holidays
  • ** A two-night minimum stay is required on weekends during most of the year for many of the accommodations here. Please call our reservations desk with your dates.
  • Cancellation Policy: One week’s notice is required to cancel cottages without incurring charges.
  • Housekeeping: Cottages are cleaned before your stay. If you would prefer daily housekeeping, it is available for an additional fee.
  • Smoking: Our cottages and amenity areas are non-smoking.
  • Pets: At this time, pet-friendly accommodations are not available through River Dunes. Please inquire about area kennels or check for pet-friendly rentals through BethFrazer.com.
  • Property Management: Privately-owned residences are available for rent within the River Dunes Community. River Dunes does not manage these properties. Their policies, amenities and booking process may differ. Our Front Desk will refer you to the Property Management Division if you inquire about a managed rental.
Use of Amenities:

River Dunes Amenities including the bicycles, pool, and clubhouse are for use only by Registered Guests staying overnight in a River Dunes rental or boat slip. Guests must sign a Use of Facilities Agreement upon check-in. If you would like to plan a special event that includes off-site guests, please speak with our events coordinator.

Several Privately-Owned Properties, including the Boathouse Row Bunkies, are available for rent through third party property management agencies. On and off the harbor, these vacation homes accommodate 2-8 people. Pet-Friendly Private Rentals may also be available.

The River Dunes Front Desk does not manage the Boathouse Row or Vacation Rentals. Book These Vacation Homes through their property management team.
