Mother Nature provided perfect fall weather and the Harbor Village at River Dunes provided the ideal location for the River Dunes Property Owners Annual Homecoming Weekend.
Festivities began on Friday afternoon with a tour of Heartworks in Bayboro, where owners were impressed with the great work being done for the families of Pamlico County. That evening, a pumpkin-themed dinner and wine tasting inaugurated the new Grace Harbor Provision Company, just across the street from the Harbor Club. Dinner was followed by a magic show that featured River Dunes’ own Amazing Andy.
On Saturday morning, owners gathered for the Annual POA Meeting, followed by lunch at the Vanderzyl home.
Saturday afternoon featured a wide array of activities for owners, including a helicopter tour of the property, clay shooting, tennis, a seminar on the history of River Dunes, and an opportunity to look at some of the new homes under construction.
Early Saturday evening, a wine and cheese was held at the Wild home, and the day ended with a traditional oyster roast on the Harbor Club lawn.
It’s always a wonderful weekend of renewing friendships, making new friends, and enjoying all that River Dunes offers. We’re already looking forward to Homecoming Weekend 2016!
