Tiny Sailboats – Big Competition

Every Saturday, weather permitting, you’ll find a group of die-hard sailors engaged in a fierce competition in Grace Harbor.It’s the local Shoreside Sailing Club, and the sailboats are remote controlled miniatures.The boats are beautiful to watch and the sailors are skilled in manuevering a set course.They find racing conditions to be perfect in River Dunes’ protected harbor, and they welcome observers and friends.Stop by the Harbor on a sunny fall Saturday and enjoy the races!

Saturday on the Docks

Heading out! With winds at 12 mph out of the NNE and sunny blue skies, it’s tough to keep this crowd at the dock! DoubleLuv and Co. are heading out for a cruise – along with most of the sailors from B-dock. The docks and the fuel dock (below).

Fall Boating Traffic

RiverDunes is gaining popularity for its well-protected harbor and excellent shoreside facilities. It seems that word has also spread among catamaran owners that River Dunes has very attractive floating T-heads capable of docking numerous cats. (Photo Above).
