Welcome New Owners

River Dunes is happy to welcomenew owners to the family this week. The Paterson family from Durham, NC found a homesite in the Broadwaters neighborhood that offers exceptional water views and is a great fit for their family’s plans. They originally discovered River Dunes on the Internet, drove down for a visit, came back for a weekend in a guest cottage, and decided that this community is the perfect place for making family memories on the water.

The Paterson’s son enjoyed taking one of the River Dunes boats out for a spin.

Our Owners Say it Best

Here’s a recent email from one of our owners about the Labor Day weekend festivities:
“Many thanks for hosting a wonderful and spirited croquet event on the lawn.We all really enjoyed ourselves, and most importantly the event created introductions and teamwork, along with some new relationships. I really enjoyed getting to know some of our new owners and their families. River Dunes and all that it is continues to be the core of our social life and hopefully in the not too distant future, where we make our home!”-Cindy Campbell, 406 Homestead Road

Schneider Family Celebrates New Home

Labor Day weekend was capped off by a great evening at the Schneider family’s new home on the harbor.Friends and family members gathered for an Open House that celebrated all those who contributed along the way to the completion of their dream home in River Dunes. The Schneider’s love of the area stems from their involvement with Camp Seagull, just a few minutes away. And if great food and fellowship weren’t enough, right on cue at sunset, a sailboat came into the harbor, under full sail!

Welcome to the Neighborhood! Moving in early this morning – with family in town, it was quick work! These new residents selected this M.E. Maher home in July.
