Bike MS: Historic New Bern Ride 2019

September 7, 2019

River Dunes is excited to welcome back the Bike MS: Historic New Bern Ride and its participants!

Bike MS is the largest fundraising bike series in the world. Each year, 2,500 cyclists and 500 volunteers ride  routes in Pamlico and Craven County, raising over $1.8 millionto change the world for people with MS.

River Dunes hosts the Saturday Lunch Stop and volunteers provide lunch for the cyclists riding the 75 or 100 mile route. Volunteers are welcome!

The Impact:

Bike MS is the fundraising cycling series of the National MS Society and raises more money than any other cycling event for any other cause. To date, Bike MS cyclists, volunteers, and donors have raised more than $1.3 billion to stop MS in its tracks, restore what’s been lost, and end MS forever.

Community Notice:

We are expecting a surge of approximately 1,000 to 1,500 cyclists on Saturday between 10a to 1p. Please factor in extra time when traveling in and out of the community as well as in the surrounding areas.

Thank you,

The River Dunes Team
