New Construction at River Dunes

The past few days of warm temperatures and clear blue skies have allowed construction to move along on the three new homes in the Oyster Point neighborhood.One home has foundation work going on, while two are still working on lot preparation and flagging.The third new home is in the early stages of clearing.

Yet another project is nearing completion – the addition of a garage to the Kisby residence.It’s looking good!

Breaking Ground for New Homes

It’s an exciting time at River Dunes with four new custom homes under construction in the Oyster Point neighborhood as well as a new garage underway at an existing home!Cooler temperatures and clear skies create perfect conditions for all the work going on at various homesites.It won’t be long before it will be time for a block party for new neighbors and new homes on Oyster Point!

Over the past few days, construction activity has sprung up all over the marina village.One new home on Oyster Point has already begun site preparation on a beautiful waterfront homesite.

New Custom Homes are Nearly Ready

Several custom homes are nearing completion in River Dunes’ neighborhoods.The Brooks family from Northern VA will soon be moving into their beautiful home on Oyster Point.They hope to spend a lot of time at River Dunes, especially enjoying all the boating opportunities they have as members of River Dunes’ Boat Club.

The Ura family, from the Raleigh area, have enjoyed staying aboard their sailboat when they spent time at River Dunes.Now, they are happy to be on the home stretch of the construction of their home on Eastcove Way.

New Roads and Utilities are on the Move

Beautiful Indian summer weather with mild sunny days has allowed work to continue on the construction of new roads and installation of utility infrastructure.One of the new roads will lead into the Preservation homesites, larger acreage properties located on the Neuse River and Pamlico Sound with expansive views.

Along with road construction along the Riverside, the prep work is underway for completing the paving and utilities of Ballast Point that leads into the Summer Place neighborhood on Mill Creek.

River Dunes has been busy over the last two weeks, paving roads. In the Ballast Point neighborhood, paving has begun on Soundside Drive and the alley behind the Carriage Homes.
