Volunteer Firemen at Work in River Dunes

Yesterday, members of the Southeast Pamlico Volunteer Fire Department, many of whom are residents of River Dunes, ran a test drill to check out the water pressure in two of the hydrants located in the Boat House Row neighborhood. SPVFD Sub-station 19-A is just across Orchard Creek Road from the front entrance of River Dunes. The drill went very well, and, as these photos show, the water pressure was great!

Many, many thanks for all the hard work and practice that these volunteers do to protect all the homes and properties in this part of our county.
